Temporary Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist

Location: Kelso, WA (100% onsite)
Job Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $25-$35/hour

Overview

We are seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist to support a high-volume AP team following a recent system implementation and backlog. This role will focus on reconciliations, invoice tracking, and vendor communication.

Responsibilities

  • Perform statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Track down and process missing invoices
  • Support backlog cleanup for late payment resolution
  • Communicate directly with vendors regarding outstanding items
  • Assist with procurement system-related tasks (Remarcable)
  • Maintain accurate AP records and documentation

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Experience working in a procurement system (strongly preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage high-volume work and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills for vendor outreach

Duration

  • Contract role with potential to extend through end of year
  • Possibility of full-time conversion
